Today we gonna clear the room again  It was a fun experiment to have a real shop for one weekend. To meet nice and kind people, shop owners, artists and customers.

...and now I'm happy to go back  to my drawing work again :-)

Swanwalk kersteditie

This weekend I will join the Swanwalk christmas edition. It's a shopping event around het Zwaanshals, one of the nicest streets of Rotterdam and in my neighbourhood!

Together with 'Beleef je verbeelding', Paula de Loor and Diny Hofman, we have our own pop-up shop. Today we gonna set up this shop. I'm gonna paint on the window :-)

...and so I did....

The result of a part of the window. Funny, because you have to make the text the other way around. I worked first with a beamer, projected the text on my wall and painted the reversed text on paper.

Announcement Opening WinterWinkel in Amsterdam

Today La Grande Opening of the WinterWinkel in Amsterdam. Just as last year the ladies of the Ka-Ching Collectief  organised a pop-up Shop in the center of Amsterdam. I'm happy Red Cheeks Factory is selected to join with 25 other participants!

Here's a photo I took of the building when I brought my products last Friday:

It's in a nice building (a former pleausure house ;-)) with 3 levels. Enouph room for a shop, an office and a workshop space. The opening is from 16.00 till 18.00 hour at the Oudezijdse Achterburgwal 121. You are all invited!

kunstfestival Schiebroek

Coming Saturday the 13th of September I will show and sell my work
on the Art-Market Schiebroek.

Last year I was there too, but then it rained and there was a lot of wind.
Now they promise sun, so that sounds good!

The Market is on the Rhododenderonplein and the Peppelweg in Schiebroek near Rotterdam  It's from 10.00 till 16.00 hour. There will also be street theatre.

You are very welcome to visit the festival and if you do, come and say hello to me. :-))

Plop!.... a pop-up shop!

Today an Etsy Pop-up Shop will pop up in the center of Amsterdam. It's called 'de winterwinkel', which means 'wintershop'. They sell all kind of nice, handmade and vintage items for under the christmas tree.

And guess what?
Red Cheeks Factory prints and postcards will be also available there :-)

This week I was busy with framing prints and organizing everything.
Yesterday I brought my work to Amsterdam.

I've met the enthusiastic organizing team: the ladies of the Ka-ching collectief.
They build up the shop and this afternoon (friday the 22nd) it will be open for the public.
There's an openings-party from 16.00 hour till 18.00 hour.
I will be there too!

The winterwinkel will be open from November the 22nd till December the 2nd

we survived it!

Yes, we survived it!

This was the first time we did an Art Market with a lot of rain and wind.
It was hard work to keep everything in place , but we survived it!

It was the premiere of the new card racks
They work well in bad whether circumstances, good to know :-))

kunstfestival Schiebroek

Next Saterday the 14th of September I'm on an Art Market
in Rotterdam again: Kunstfestival Schiebroek
The festival is not only an Art Market, but there's also a lot of (street) theatre.

I will sell my giclée art prints, postcards, posters, some t-shirts and bags.
If you are in the neighbourhood come by and say hello,
that would be fun :-))

Marché du Nord

Today I was at the art market: Marché du Nord.
It was a part of Route du Nord I had my own Red Cheeks Factory stand

It was a very nice day. I got a lot of enthusiastic reactions on my work
and I've met very nice people and also did good business :-)
