When she died I took her last geranium and every year we multiply them. We place them in the garden next to our holiday home on our island in de Bergsche Plas in Rotterdam. In autumn we take them with us to our home.
Not all, because that would be too much... And we make new ones of them. Last Wednesday we planted them again. The photo above was taken last year in August.
I wish my Mam could see it....

What a n amazingly heartfelt memorial to your mother! As it grows so grows your love! Your memories of her. I have a plant in my garden huge grown from a small plant i took from my mothers patio before she came to live with us the last year and a half of her life! I cannot look at it without thinking of her. She's been gone over 20 years. The plant flourishes!

Wat een mooie blogpost Nelleke! Ik heb meteen de anderen ook gelezen, en je moeders animaties bekeken. Dat talent komt blijkbaar bij haar vandaan, de animaties zijn echt leuk. Zelfde soort humor als jij :)
