special project

Last week I received an e-mail from Ingrid Chabbert,
a children book writer from France.
She is enthusiastic about my work.
She asked me to work on a project together :-)

She chose an illustration from my portfolio
and made a short text to it.

A very playful and challenging way of working!

After the big success of the March issue, a special issue of ILLUSTRATI
will be released on the occasion of the Turin Book Fair.

The new topic will be: A LIFE OF PAPER…
… the life enclosed in the pages of a book. My book. Your book.
You can send your material by the 31st of March 2012.

Illustrati Magazine: edizione speciale

This morning the postman brought a nice surprise:
some copies of Illustrati Magazine

It is a special edition for the upcoming Bologna Children Book Fair.
With all kind of beautiful circus illustrations. It looks really wonderful!

My Red Nose Brigade illustration is also in it :-)
I'm very happy to be part of such a beautiful Magazine!

My brother has his birthday today.
His favorite color is green and he loves walking
in nature among the trees and singing birds.

Today they sing especially for you, johbont.

just a matter of practice...

Almost every day I start with a bikram yoga class.
Sarea, one of my favourite teachers has given her last class today.
She's leaving to France. This is my saying-goodbye drawing for her.
